A Timeline of MY professional Technical work

2015-2017
Early Years

Started working with Adobe Creative Products making graphics and video editing. Mainly fascinated by advertisements and inspired by David Ogilvy and band posters . Meanwhile working on my CompTia A+ & Network+ certs.

2018-2021
Computer Science
Degree-ish

I enrolled into BSU for Computer Science w/ a Security Emphasis. Within a year I transferred into Stevens-Henager College in Computer Security with a large CCNA/CCNP focus. While I was attending, my education was abruptly shut down a couple months just before completion.

2021-2022
Starting from square one in it

Worked within entry level jobs at Geek Squad and St Lukes Health Systems doing simple tasks and communication based work in a timely manner.

I relied building my tech skills outside of work with open source tools and building my old SOHO environment at my apartment with a 2960-S Cisco Switch auctioned from the hospital, an old Optiplex 990 with 3 Gigabit NIC slapped into the chassis running PFSense, and a couple computers with Red Hat and Windows Server 2016.

2022-2024
Managed Service Providers

With my skills, I moved into business technology solutions and tier 1 technical support for companies around the Treasure Valley through companies Orion Integration Group and Northwind Computers.

I left the IT job sector June 2024 to go back to school in marketing at CWI.
